BMW Concreting offers supply and placements of a wide variety of different types of exposed aggregate. Exposed aggregate is the process having different colours of aggregate (stone) mixed through the concrete mix and then the surface of the concrete is lightly removed during the pour allowing the stones to show through the surface. All care is taken with our aggregates to maintain an even expose whilst keeping structural integrity with the concrete. The concrete is placed and floated and finished as per normal concrete, a retardant is added to the surface to ensure slower curing, then the surface is either removed by water pressure or sand blasting depending on the desired result.
